Gynecology (from Greek gyne = woman) is a science dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of female genital diseases. In a broader sense this medical discipline is the science dealing with health‑general of women, including prevention activities. Gynecology as a field of knowledge is often referred to as “women’s diseases”, which gives it a unique character resulting from anatomical and physiological differences of gender. An analysis method should be conservative and surgical gynecology, indicating that both gynecology and in other areas of medicine plays an important role proper selection of methods of diagnosis and therapy.
